Fluorinated ethylene propylene is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene. FEP has a melting point of 304 ℃ and a density of 2.15g/CC (g/cubic centimeter). It is a soft plastic with lower tensile strength, wear resistance, and creep resistance than many engineering plastics. FEP, as a chemically inert material, is not easily combustible and has an oxygen index of up to 95%, which can prevent flame diffusion. At the same time, it also has good weather resistance and low friction coefficient.
